– MPEC shows them how

The Sheldon H. Solow Foundation Management Program for Emerging Companies - MPEC, is an executive development forum for emerging companies eager to create a major breakthrough and achieve corporate success. MPEC makes participants look up and see the corporate landscape and reflect on where they want to go. We then help to execute a business centric approach to get there.

Practical global management skills - learning by doing

The program supports growth through systematic thought processes, task oriented projects and shared management team experiences. Methodology is based on action learning – learning by doing. Participants learn to solve their own real life problems under their own working conditions. Together we focus on what is critical to ongoing development now.

MPEC does not run typical training classes, entrepreneurs don't have time for that, rather it runs short learning bursts supported by behind-the-scenes studies of pace-setting companies. Our objective is to entrench a global business mindset to help entrepreneurs assume leadership roles and sustain ongoing success while building a strong management team. We deliver with the guidance of internationally renowned faculty members from Harvard, Insead, MIT, NYU, Stanford, IMD and more. We have created three main modules to help teams make a difference:

Needs assessment - In touch with the needs of each organization we take a client-centric approach; we adapt our modules to each program cycle after an extensive needs assessment process that is unique to TIM, following in-depth interviews with each manager.

Workshops - A forum for complex multi-dimensional management issues including; globalization, personal leadership, financial challenges, business strategy, change management, managing accelerated growth, cross-cultural management, global marketing, international negotiating skills, presentation preparation.

Business projects - Leading business professionals from the world's top education institutions personally mentor participating management teams through a live company project, helping them to integrate theory with project execution.

Benchmarking - This workshop integrates the fundamentals learned from previous workshops exposing participants to role model local and international organizations, enabling them to explore infrastructures, government organizations and industries.

Following graduation our participants join our growing ExecuTIM graduates network where the learning process continues through senior management forums and other tailored events.

For who - Six different emerging company management teams
Duration - Six months to eight months
Location - TIM offices, local and international benchmarking locations
Cost - The MPEC program is highly subsidized by TIM

"The program contributed to the personal performance of our managers… We got a broader view, a perspective. The lecturers and mentors are outstanding… I can look at mistakes we would have made had we not talked about them in the program.
